Iculo is the isiZulu word for song. The pouch was made for what you listen to.

It is small. The interior is shaped to hold a pair of over ear headphones folded into themselves, with room for a cable, an adapter, a small detail of personal taste. The leather is calf, hand finished, with edges painted in tone to keep the silhouette clean.

A single zip runs across the top. The pull is leather, weighted by hand. The interior is lined in suede, soft against the equipment inside, quiet against the leather of the exterior.

There is something specific about choosing how you listen to music. The headphones a person travels with, the music they reach for between conversations, the small ritual of putting them on. The pouch is the object that holds those choices in one place.

The name is a small recognition of that. Music has always been the way the continent kept memory. The pouch carries the modern form of it.

Every Inga Africa piece is handcrafted with care and prepared for delivery to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

For handcrafted pieces made to order, please allow 6–8 weeks for production before your order is dispatched.

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination country. These costs remain the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you wish to return your purchase, you may request a return within 15 days of receiving your order.

To initiate a return, please contact us at orders@ingaafrica.com with your order number and reason for the return.

Returned items must be:

  • Unused
  • In their original condition
  • Accompanied by all original packaging, tags, and accessories

Once your return has been received, inspected, and approved, your refund will be processed within 7 days using the original payment method.

Please note that made-to-order, bespoke, personalised, and custom-made pieces are not eligible for return or refund unless the item has a manufacturing defect.

Inga Africa reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this policy.

Interior Layout & Slots • Lower portion is split into two custom-folded, wing-shaped pouches designed to perfectly nestle the individual ear-cups of a pair of headphones. • Open-arch top design features open-ended sides, allowing a rigid headphone headband to extend upward naturally to act as the bag's top handle. • Interior flap is equipped with dual snap-button style magnetic fasteners to securely anchor the front flap down. • Stitched flat against the smooth black leather interior wall is the silver foil text reading: "INGA AFRICA / HAND CRAFTED IN SOUTH AFRICA".
Exterior Features & Hardware • Features a central rectangular leather flap that folds over the middle to keep contents enclosed. • Carried via a wide, adjustable black leather shoulder strap that hooks directly onto hardware loops via polished silver-toned lobster clasps. • Includes a tiny, separate rectangular leather envelope charm with a silver stud closure and the "INGA AFRICA" logo attached to the strap. • Center of the front flap features the brand's distinct "I" logo emblem finished in polished silver hardware.
